Sarah's Aotearoa poem

Aotearoa is ...
Amazing brilliant Auckland that has red, fiery pohutakawa trees waving gently and catching the sunlight.
The fantastic, exciting puzzle world in Queenstown with all its extreme puzzles and optical illusions.
The tiny but, spectacular Waiheke with its fun banana boating and shy stingrays.
Remarkable Rotorua with steamy, hot pools that looks out to the wonderful lakes and picturesque scenery.
The exciting, incredible Mt Cook with its pointy top

  1. Amazing language, Sarah. I liked the way I could pictue the things that you wrote about in my head. You have used adjectives effectively. Well done!!

  2. I agree with Mrs Steel, Sarah. Your poem is written with words - yet it is somehow so visual with the amazing way you have described the various, wonderful places in Aotearoa. Wonderful work.
